September 24, 2007 : FREEDOM RUN WINERY ANNOUNCES PROGRAM TO CELEBRATE PERSONAL FREEDOM
Freedom Run Winery was named in honor of the Underground Railroad. “Right here, along the escarpment on our land, slaves made their way at night to the narrowest part of the Niagara River where they swam across the border to freedom,” said co-owner and chief operating officer Larry Manning. “We want our name to commemorate this important part of our nation’s history, and help celebrate and support the importance of freedom today.”Read the full press release here.

August 13, 2007: FREEDOM RUN WINERY GRAND OPENING A HUGE SUCCESS
More than 1,000 guests celebrated the grand opening of Freedom Run Winery in Cambria, New York this past Saturday, featuring an Asado Argentine-style barbecue consisting of roast duck, lamb and steamship rounds of beef while savoring 11 varieties of wine in the lavish tasting room.
